AIDM Technology Trust has been responding to crises and building self-reliance models across the globe for over four decades.
AIDM Technology Trust was founded in London in response to the severe famine affecting millions of lives in East Africa (Horn of Africa). Our initial work focused on raising emergency funds to send immediate food grains and medical supplies to Ethiopia and Sudan.
To deliver aid directly rather than solely distributing via partner channels, the Trust established its first set of field offices in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Somalia. This allowed for permanent, local, and accountable project supervision.
In response to the catastrophic Indian Ocean Tsunami, AIDM Technology Trust launched one of its largest relief campaigns. We established long-term shelter construction projects and vocational workshops for widowed mothers in Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
Recognizing the chronic threat of water scarcity, we consolidated our digging efforts into the "Water for All" initiative, committing to build sustainable solar water pumps and community filtration systems in dry zones.
In partnership with international Islamic scholars, we refined our Zakat allocation framework. This ensures a 100% donation policy on Zakat-designated appeals, guaranteeing funds are directly distributed to eligible individuals under strict governance.
Celebrating 40 years of service, having reached over 15 million beneficiaries across 40 countries through sustainable programs and disaster relief teams.
